African Market Baskets
African Market Baskets works directly with artisans in Bolgatanga, Ghana and are wholeheartedly devoted to creating a positive experience for all involved. Each basket is carefully woven by hand by expert basket weavers. Proceeds from the sale of each of these beautiful, colorful baskets help to provide healthcare, education and financial support to over 1,000 African villagers and their children.

AREAWARE is a Williamsburg, Brooklyn based producer of everyday objects that are functional and unusual. Their goal is to create thoughtful products that inspire an emotional response. They also create a forum for young and local talent to help become a strong voice for American design. They believe that appreciation for beauty is central to what it means to be alive and want to embody this principle in even the simplest things. Their fun and functional Fuana Cushion Pillows are made from organic cotton and feature carefully silkscreened animal images that are done by hand.

Hand-poured Natural Candles
Hand-poured natural candles are typically great in two different ways. First, they often incorporate recycled materials, and second, they often utilize 100% natural soy or beeswax and  high-quality scents. This means that the candle can burn longer and it smells better and less toxic. Some of our favorite handmade finds are by Tru Melange and Big Dippers Waxworks.
